Sailors in the Washington, D.C. area (including many of our former students) have enjoyed sailing our rental boats at Belle Haven Marina for 22 years. Our fleet of quality boats includes our 34' C&C sloop Canadame (with a captain), 19' Flying Scots,  14' Sunfish and more. For non-sailors, you will love the peace and quiet of paddling a canoe or kayak through Dyke Marsh.

We gladly take reservations so you will know that you have a boat before you arrive and we keep a close eye on the weather to alert you to adverse conditions. There is nothing like a nice evening sail after work or an afternoon cruise around the Potomac. It's like a mini-vacation to clear your head. Sometimes the best boat is someone else's...so come down and use ours!

We are open daily from 8:30 AM to sunset and weekends till 6:00pm.

Our favorite all-around boat in it's class. The 19' Flying Scot is a stable, yet responsive daysailor/racer. It's an excellent boat for families with kids, but also has great performance. In fact, there are many Flying Scot racing fleets, including one in the D.C. area.

The 14' Sunfish is an American classic. Sunfish are easy to sail and are fun for all ages.

Take our beautiful C&C 34 sloop 'Canadame' out with up to six people. One of our experienced captains will accompany you and your friends for a daytime or evening cruise. Bring a meal or have it catered.  Capacity: 6 Charter Fees: $90 per hour includes captain, fuel and ice. (2 hour minimum).

Go explore the Dyke Marsh Refuge in our 16' Coleman canoes. Life jackets and paddles are included.

What can we say? It's a row boat. Jon boats come with two oars and Coast Guard equipment. You may bring your own outboard (max. 10hp). Come down and do little fishin'...or maybe just some floatin'.
